Knights win in most dramatic fashion, zero ticks on the clock....Owner James King celebrates

Knights launched the IBL with an undefeated season, 21 straight victories and the first IBL championship.

Their first ever franchise loss came in game one the next year when Elkhart snapped their streak...Elkhart would go on to claim the second year championship and finish that season with a 19-game win tear of their own.

Turnabout being fair play, the Knights ended that streak in the most spectacular fashion, in season three. Up by 4 with under two minutes left to play, the game looked in BC's pocket...but Elkhart rallied, and with less than one second on the clock drew a shooting foul. Making both shots from the line, Elkhart took a one point lead with POINT EIGHT seconds left. Knights took a time-out, made a plan, inbounded from half court with a lob pass that Duke Cleveland smoothly, in one fluid motion, turned into a backward layup for two points and a one point victory.

Season One Champions defeat Season Two Champions.

One more reason theIBL is the fastest and most dramatic sport on court.
